la reine’s home for lost decks

Give me your OLD, YOUR tired, your poor,
Your SHUFFLED masses yearning to SPREAD free,
The wretched refuse of your O’ER-FLOWING DRAWER.
Send these, the homeless, READING-tost to me,
I lift my SWORD beside the golden door!
(APOLOGIES TO Emma Lazarus)

We all have that deck… you know the one. It refuses to be tamed and won’t play nice no matter how many freezer time-outs you subject it to. The “problem” child.

Maybe it was a well-meant gift that just isn’t your style, or it’s a duplicate. Maybe you brought it into your home, thinking you’d be besties, only to find out you haaaaate each other. Perhaps it’s just plain ugly or too well-loved and in need of an upgrade, or – sadly – lost a card or two and no longer performing as it used to. Or maybe you’ve just plain outgrown each other.

At la Reine’s Home for Lost Decks, we’ve seen it all and we do not judge.

We want to help you be free from the guilt and shame of neglecting those forgotten ones, tucked away in the dark, by providing a loving environment for your less desirable cartomantic companions.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the caring and treasuring of precious artifacts, we promise to provide a new life for these difficult-to-place oracular children, with dozens of playmates and activities tailored to their individual needs. Do they work best with others? Do they need a lot of quiet time? Do they want to be reborn as an artistic project? Our experts have the tools and talents to unlock their divinatory desires!

If you are having difficulties – or know someone who is – please complete the form below, and one of our trained handlers will be in touch with you shortly. Remember, at la Reine’s Home for Lost Decks there is “Always Room for One More” *.

* Management reserves the right to refuse placement if we feel a deck would be a bad fit, or if relocation proves to be cost-prohibitive.
