This set of Majors appeals to me on so many levels: The ink medium is an instant hit, as well as the black and white colour scheme. Then there are the borders – each one different to the next -, the symbols at the top of the cards, the imprecision in the hand-lettered titles and the overall sense of sketchiness, while still being a complete drawing. There’s such personality in these cards; gentle and not all there at first glance, but deep below the surface. It reminds me of Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series.
The full set of drawings can be seen in the Tarot section of the artist’s gallery.
